Okay I am late again! Sorry. I meant to get this off yesterday and our power was out! And yes, because we have a garage door opener that requires power we had to walk down to the bus stop and take the BIG BLUE BUS to church. Gordon was loving it! Singing "the wheels on the bus". It was a memory for sure!
I noticed Gordon walking around the house the other night with a pencil tucked behind his ear. Taylor later asked him if he did that because Handy Manny does. And his response was YES. :) (Handy Manny is a cartoon on the disney channel- he fixes stuff)
We were out at the playground the other day and Gordon loves to run around the playground circle. He was so excited about running around he wasn't exactly watching where he was going and he ran right into the trash can and dented it! (I will be posting a picture of it on our blog soon) He got a little bruise but other than that totally fine.
Ella really has warmed up to eating true solid foods. She was munching on a whole carrot the other day. She loves peas and bread. She is growing up so quickly! Also we have started giving her apple slices in a handy mesh sac. She loves them!
Gordon always is trying to be like his daddy. And one thing that he loves to do like his dad is to style his hair. He use to let us style his hair, but now he must do it all by himself. Some days it leads to a very interesting hair "style" :)
I just taught Gordon how to do a butterfly kiss and an Eskimo kiss today. He really got a kick out of it. He couldn't get or give enough. He loves to give them to Ella too. It is adorable!
All day today when I was holding Ella she would grab onto the back of my arm right on the very sensitive skin my your triceps, and she would pinch with all of her might! Hopefully this is not a new trend she is in and just a one day thing :)
