Gordon was having a pack of fruit snacks the other day and I asked him, "Gordon can I have one?" He thought about it for a long time then looked up at me with a big smile and said, "Here you can have my water." That kid loves fruit snacks he would eat them by the box if I let him.
The other morning I was going to make a quick run to the store and since Taylor was still home I thought I would try to go kid-less. (I would be able to go much quicker solo) As I was getting ready to go out the door Ella caught on real quick. She ran and grabbed one of her shoes holding it up to me saying "out, out". And then at that almost exact moment Gordon came flying in the room posing as if he was a super hero. In his pajamas and shoes on saying "I am ready to go". Needless to day I did not go to the store alone :)
At church last Sunday during the closing prayer I looked over at Ella and she was folding her arms and bowing her head (I had never seen her do this before!) then half way through the prayer she said her version of amen and began to clap. She quickly noticed we were not finished and folded her arms again and bowed her head. Amazing how they pick up on things so quickly!
We were at Ross the other day and the kids were looking at the toys. Gordon of course was parked right in front of the cars. Ella was by him looking at things and then at the end of the isle she noticed the baby dolls. She dropped whatever was in her hands and ran to the babies and had to touch every since one. She is for sure a girl, even with the strong influence of cars from her brother. :)
