This week Gordon said his first prayer all by himself. He started out "Jesus Christ (and repeated that about 4 times) then I prompted him with "Thank you" and he continued, "thank you for the day, thank you for Mickey Mouse House, name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!" It was so great to see him do it on his own. He is growing up so quickly!
Ella (so far) looks like she might be left handed. She loves to feed herself bread and other finger like foods and she always does it with her left hand (just like grandpa Nielsen :) )
Ella has discovered how fun it is to build towers and knock them over. We did it for a long time the other day and she laughed just about every time :)
Yesterday Gordon was having a hard time falling asleep for his nap. He came out and finally fell asleep on the pink chair. He was out. I had to wake him up at 4:30.
This morning some other friends and neighbors got together to have a little Olympics for the kids. They did the shot put, javalen throw, hurdles, jumps, and a relay race. They had a great time and got medals. Gordon got into it. It was fun to see his athletic/competitive side come out.
Another fun filled week!!!
