Okay I am a few days late getting this out. I miss one week and it has taken me awhile to get back into the swing. :) Hopefully you will forgive my tardiness :)

Gordon LOVES to sing. Over the past month or so he really has gotten into it. One Sunday in church we were singing the opening hymn and Gordon was making quite a bit of noise. I looked over at him and asked him to keep it down. And he gave me a look of "what do you think I am doing". And then I realized that he was singing :) Ever since then he really has enjoyed singing whenever he feels a song coming on. And usually not one that we recognize, he makes up his own lyrics as he goes. It is quite entertaining.

Ella has gotten to the age where she gets into dancing to music. She will even dance to Gordon's singing. :) And just this morning she decided she didn't need any music at all. And would dance in between each bite she would take for breakfast.

The other night I was reading a book to Gordon about how he is a child of God. And we got to a page that talks about how God has created all of these creatures for us to enjoy. The picture on that page is a Greg Olsen picture and it has a little boy looking at all of his toy animals making their way back into the toy chest. And I usually give Gordon a little time to enjoy the pictures before I turn the page. I felt that I had and I went to turn the page. He quickly said "Stop" and flipped the page back. He was studying it intensely. And then he let out a sigh. And pointed to a car and then was ready to turn the page. He is borderline obsessed with cars....actually no, I am pretty sure he is! :)

Gordon has been starting to use the potty more and more. Can't wait to have one child in diapers!

Ella cracks me up! Whenever we tell her not to do something, like putting paper in her mouth or pulling on a cord she will stop and look at us right in the eye and talk back. It is as if she is already trying to bargain with us to get away with things. It is hilarious!

The other day I could have sworn Ella said Gordon. Before we know it she will be talking up a storm.

Last night the kids were playing together on the floor and Gordon decided it would be fun to play hide and seek. So he ran behind the ottoman. And Ella followed him, found him and laughed. Gordon went around to the other side, Ella followed, found him and laughed again. It was so cute. And wonderful that they are really starting to play with one another :)

Hope all is going well with all of you! We miss you all and love you very much. Know that we think about you often and keep you in our prayers!
