This week we went to the beach and the kids had a great time. I was very under prepared. I didn't think they would want to get in the water at all. I thought the sand would keep them plenty busy....boy was I wrong. Gordon was soaked head to toe and Ella would have run in every chance she got if I wasn't right there holding her hand. They are true California beach bums :)
I gave Ella a little wink and she tried with all of her might to wink back at me. She wrinkled her nose a lots and tilted her head but just couldn't quite figure out how to get one eye closed and keep the other open. We will have to work on it.
We were taking Taylor up to campus this week and Taylor looked back at Gordon in his carseat and Taylor started playing with Gordon little leg hairs. Gordon reponded "I need those" to which Taylor replied, "I'll just take a couple" and Gordon quickly said back, "NO, I need all of them!"
I was working at the computer while Ella was napping and Gordon was playing quietly by himself. That should have been my first clue (that he was playing quietly...too quietly. I turn around to find Gordon had pulled out his Zebra chair put that in the middle of the floor along with just about every toy from his closet, all of his blankets, a whole box of maternity clothes, and a few kitchen towels. I looked at him and said Gordon you have made quite a mess. He got a big smile on his face and said "No mom...it is a CASTLE". (I have attached a pictures of his 'castle'- I couldn't stop laughing)
Love you all!!!
