Another fun week with the kidos. :) They always make me smile.
Ella was eating dinner the other night and I gave her a piece of a rice crispy treat to munch on. I looked over at her after some time had past and she figured out that it was a sticky treat and thought it would be fun to rub it all over her face to see how sticky she could get. When I gave her a bath right after dinner I found rice crispy in her hair behind her ear and in her ear not to mention all over the rest of her face :) She thoroughly enjoyed it.
Gordon has officially phased out the nap. It didn't take long. He does go down for bed much easier now than he use to...but boy do I miss having an hour to do things. But it is great that he and I get some one on one time in the middle of the day now :)
Gordon was sitting on the to-to and had been for awhile. I was starting to get a little tired of sitting on the bathroom floor waiting for him to finish. So I said "Are you going to go potty or what?" And then Gordon thought for a moment and looked at me and said "or what!" followed by a laugh. The kid is already cracking jokes. He is such a cutie!
Preschool as been so much fun for Gordon he has learned a lot. Last monday the letter of the day was 'Z'. I was fixing dinner and there was some paper and a pen sitting on the table from earlier in the day. So to keep himself busy Gordon started drawing. Then he called to me in the kitchen, "Mom, look a 'z' ". I came over to the table and sure enough Gordon had written a letter 'Z' on his paper! Awesome! I have been wanting to start writing his letters with him, but now I know he is ready :)
Ella really understands a lot more than I think I give her credit for sometimes. She is constantly surprising me with what she picks up. She is growing up so quickly!
I am excited for Easter tomorrow! We will send pictures of the kids in their Easter outfits.
