Another week has gone by and our children are growing up before our eyes and we are loving every min.

Gordon:
Being here at G&G Earl's we have access to a pool, which has become almost a daily activity. Gordon LOVES the water. We are teaching him how to swim so we will say to him, "Kick,Kick". Now when we are holding him in the pool and he wants to get anywhere he says, "kick, kick".

He also likes to wear all his gear. He has a water gun, floaties, goggles the whole nine yards.

Gordon is officially in a big boy bed. And a really big one at that. He has a whole Queen all to himself. Each time he climbs onto it you can see in his face that he feels mighty special, and he is! :)

I was getting a hot dog for Gordon. I said, "A hot dog with ketchup.." and then Gordon said, "round and round" which means to put it in the microwave and watch it go 'round and round'.

I rode in the back seat of the car yesterday so I was sitting next to Gordon. We were riding along and I grabbed his cute little hand for a min. then I let go to buckle in. Gordon was looking out the window, but quickly turned around and said, "hand" as he held his little hand out to mine. We had to hold hands the whole ride :)

Gordon has really gotten in to playing hide-and-go-seek just recently. He loves it!

Gordon is also getting into pretend. He lined up all of the wooden blocks (not a big surprise) but then he grabbed a little wooden wrench and used it like a knife to cut his 'loaf of (wooden) bread'.

Yesterday morning Gordon was saying "Dye, dye, dye" it took me awhile but I figured out that he wanted me to change his diaper. So I did, as soon as I was done he said, "dye, dye, dye" I explained that I just changed his diaper. And then I figured out what he was really getting at. He wanted me to change his diaper, but not into just any diaper....he wanted a swim diaper so we could get in the pool. (but it rained yesterday, he was a sad camper)

Ella:
Still our happy social girl. Every morning she just can't seem to smile enough.

I don't know what I am going to do when she finally decided she doesn't like the burrito wrap any more. It is magic. I wrap her and in seconds she is asleep. We are going to need to invest in one large blanket :)

The Earl cousins came over the other day and Damian was talking to me when I was holding Ella. And she got very excited and was staring at Damian and smiling and giggling. --definitely going to be a people person

Love you all!
