This past week we were at Disneyland for the Earl Family Reunion. I did not have a paper and pen handy so I didn't write down any stories...so this is all from memory, and I am pooped so my thoughts are not up to par but I can remember a few. THANKS TO MOM AND DAD EARL FOR A VERY FUN WEEK!
Gordon:
We were having dinner one night with everyone and Kimball was telling a story that all of the adults were into I looked over at Gordon and he too was into the conversation. He was looking at Uncle Kimball and shaking his head and saying "yes, yes" every now and then to let us know that he was agreeing as well.
In the hotel there were little shampoo and soap containers with mickey mouse heads. That was how I got Gordon to take his bath, THANK YOU Disneyland hotel for having those in the room or we would have had one stinky boy!
I remember taking naps in the rented Disneyland strollers and this week Gordon got to experience that too. Although I think he had a better experience seeing as they are now cloth rather than metal :)
In California Adventure there is a place in the Bug land where you can run around and get wet. We were not prepared....so when Gordon was done playing he was one wet and cold little boy. Grandpa Earl quickly went out and got a giant fluffy Disneyland blanket that Gordon now drags all over the house. His new favorite blankie :) Thanks grandpa!
Gordon LOVED going into the innovation station. There was a infrared soccer and hockey game he would play for hours if we let him :) We went up there at least once a day.
Ella:
She was in the bjorn all day everyday, a little trooper! She had on a little pink sun hat and she was adorable. I had many people come up to me and tell me what an beautiful baby she is. And of course I agree! :)
And this past week Taylor and I got to eat at the Blue Bayou! One of my childhood dreams, everytime I would ride Pirates I would look over at the people eating there and wish that I could someday eat there with my husband! And now I will wish it no longer, because I did it! And we had the best table, the food was wonderful. It could not have been anymore perfect than it was! Thanks to Mom Earl for making the reservations and Dad Earl for picking up the bill:)
It was an exhausting week, but a very fun one! We love you all! And Grandma Thompson, know that we are praying for you and for a fast recovery! Love you all so much!
