I have found that since I have started doing this I notice more of the cute things they do which is great, so again this weeks list is quite long :) Enjoy :)

Gordon:
Gordon is very into running around the house and this week Taylor noticed him saying "I'm fast" as he would run in and out of the office on his many rounds through the house.

One of his new phrases that we can now understand is "here you go" he will say it all the time. I am coming to realize the things I say to him most often :)

He had a friend over the other day, Elisa, and when it was time for her to go they gave each other a huge hug. And he held on for awhile...and then he had another. We will have to keep our eyes on him, if he is starting this early :)

Grandma and Grandpa Earl got Gordon a kaleidescope on one of their visits and this week I saw him grab it and put it up to his eye and with pure joy and excitement quickly started to move the end to change the pictures. He finally figured out how it works!

I do a running swap with a mom in our ward and when I got back to their house I noticed Gordon found a bucket and had been walking around the house collecting all of the cars he could find. We know what his favorite thing is......CARS :)

I was sitting at the computer and Gordon must have found a pen. He took it over to the exercise bike and used it like a screw driver on all of the screws he could find. He looked like a mini mechanic. (I think he saw daddy and Grandpa Nielsen working on it earlier...and just wanted to be like the big guys)

We were over at another friends house this week and they have a huge mirror that goes to the ground and Gordon slowly walked up to it and started to look at himself. he then lifted up his shirt to check out his belly....then he sucked it in. (I think he saw mommy working on that earlier :) )

We went to the bank this week and I was busy filling out a slip and Ella was getting a little fussy so Gordon bent down to the car seat and said "shhh-shhh" but since that wasn't working he tried to stick his finger in her mouth (how would he get such a crazy idea like that :) ) I had to explain that only mommy and daddy can do that. He really is becoming such a great big brother!

Then last, today we went to a party. It was a Jedi party. The cake was Yoda. After we sang, the yoda head (which is almost the size of Gordon's head) came off and was placed right in front of Gordon. He put his little face right in front of the Yoda's and started talking to him...I think expecting a response because when none came he gave him a little poke. (which left a finger imprint in the fondant. He had a great time.

Ella:
She wore a flower in her hair on Sunday. She looked adorable. Every now and then the flower would get into her eyes....so it only lasted through sacrament. :)

One morning this week I had brought Ella into bed with me to give myself just a half hour more to sleep. I heard Gordon's little feet come running into our room. And he climbed up onto the bed to see us all there....he crawled right up in between Ella and I and gave her a big smile and a 'good morning' pat. Then Ella returned the big smile and an adorable laugh to go with it. They kept smiling and laughing at one another, that was the best way to wake up!

We had doctors appointments this week to make sure the kids are healthy (and they are now wha hoo!) and as we were checking in Ella spit up all over herself. She was quite wet. Once we got into the room I went to clean her up and as I was taking off her pants realized that she had also pooped through. Hurray that mommy had another outfit in the bag :)

Last night we made a new record. She slept from 10 till 6. Hurray! Not a pattern yet, hopefully soon :)

Again we love you all so much! We can't wait till the next time we get to see you. Hopefully soon I will get on the ball and send some pictures with the stories .....
Love,
Laura :)
