Sorry I missed last week. With the move and everything it just did not happen. :)
For this week:
I decided to turn on some music the other day to dance to while we were working in the kitchen. Gordon loves to dance and cook (a great combo) he went to grab his chair to stand on (I thought to be by me to help me cook) he placed the chair right in front of the counter where Ella was sitting in her chair and was reaching for her and was saying "hand, hand, dance" he wanted to hold her hands to dance with her but she was too far away. So I helped him out a little bit so he and his sister could dance to the music! :)
While we were listening to the songs a broadway tune came on. (The male voice was talking more than singing) and Gordon quickly stopped dancing and folded his arms. He closed his eyes with an occasional peek at me to see what to do. When he realized that I was not folding my arms he knew something was up...then I explained that it was a song and back to his dance moves he went.
Taylor and Gordon have a new game they play. It is simply called the "love you" game. How it is played is one or both of them say "love you" and then they tickle eachother while they laugh and scream. It is fun to watch :) it was most entertaining when they did it over the phone yesterday.
Gordon loves to jump and his favorite is to jump on the bed. (which I know as a parent I should not let him do, but I remember how much I loved it as a kid and he is still pretty light and cant do too much harm) Well now when he jumps on the bed he falls over and says "crash" everytime. I think it is adorable.
This story is not one I witnessed, so grandma Earl will have to correct me if I get the story wrong. Gordon was given a cracker and he placed it on a tray and carried it inside the playhouse. He put the tray with cracker on it on the table and with his arms outstretched he said "don't fall". He slowly walked out but quicly turned back and repeted "don't fall" twice. Such a careful cook.
Ella has started blowing raspberries with her lips and tounge. She can create some serious bubbles and make a lot of noise. It makes me laugh everytime she wakes up and immdiatly starts blowing them.
Ella went to her first birthday party this week. Essie May had a cupake party. Ella went with her cupcake outfit on and loved playing with the girls. She is growing up so fast! (Ella and Essie :) )
And it id official Ella is now in 9 month clothes. So sad to pack up her 6 month clothes already...they are so cute :)
Today I was looking for something on the computer and came across my joural entry of Taylor and my wedding day. it was fun to read and to think it was not that long ago...and now we have two beautiful children. It is amazing to me that I thought back then that I loved Taylor as much as I thought I possibly could, but I love him even more now.... :) I really do love my life!
